Public, a New York-based investing and brokerage platform, is now allowing its in-house AI agents to process trades and purchase event contracts based on Kalshi prediction market data.
Revealed in a press release on September 24, 2026, the agreement will see Kalshi market movements speed up and influence trading activity across the agentic brokerage.
Further, the accord opens the door to Kalshi's breadth of "key areas of the economy and financial markets" for Public customers, who can execute prediction market trades via automated AI assistance.
Public AI to deploy trading strategies across Kalshi markets
Those trading with Public can now gain access to two distinct features as a direct consequence of this deal.
First, a selection of Kalshi markets has been added to Public, with prediction market integrations spanning cryptocurrency, commodities, climate, economics, indices, markets, corporate events, technology and science, politics and elections. Public users can tell AI to buy and sell event contracts for each category when certain pricing thresholds are hit.
Essentially, the move represents an expansion of core Kalshi markets to the "world's first agentic brokerage."
Equally pertinent is the launch of a Kalshi-based trading model, where users collaborate with Public's AI agents to carry out stock trades when prediction market prices shift. For example, a user interested in purchasing company shares can ask AI to track market sentiment for quarterly earnings, IPO status, mergers and other relevant markers supported by Kalshi.
If the implied probability for the selected prediction market meets targets set by the user, Public's agentic software automatically executes stock market trades on the customer's behalf.
Importantly, AI agents cannot plan or finalize trades without user permission. Every strategic decision must be green-lit by the account holder, with AI-driven visual guides providing transparent insight as to the why, when, and how of every trade.
AI agents designed to assist user strategy, not replace customer input
In a statement, Public Co-Founder and Co-CEO Leif Abraham explained that active users will benefit from automated strategies informed by Kalshi's prediction markets for real-world events:
"Public is built for investors who take an active hand in constructing their portfolios, and our AI agents let them automate those strategies," expressed Abraham. "Prediction markets give those agents a new input: real-world events. Members can take a position on the event directly, or use the market's data as the signal that triggers a trade anywhere else in their portfolio."
Max Crowley, Vice President of Business Development at Kalshi, pointed to this deal being a marker for a growing bond between prediction markets and investment opportunities.
"This partnership broadens how investors can engage with prediction markets and the data they generate," Crowley said.
"In addition to trading event contracts directly, Public members can now use the probabilities our markets produce as a signal alongside stocks, bonds, crypto and other assets. Bringing this data into Public's AI agents shows how prediction markets are increasingly being used to assess risk, inform investment views and support trading strategies."
