Prediction Vegas, billed as the world's first permanent prediction market-themed venue, has officially launched on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The venue opened with a private event attended by leading figures from the prediction market community, ahead of a broader public opening next week.
Occupying 10,000 square feet across two floors, Prediction Vegas "reimagines the modern sportsbook", according to the official press release.
The new venture from Bell Buckle Holdings is designed to combine the atmosphere of a sportsbook environment with the data-driven culture of prediction markets.
Large screens display live market probabilities from platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket, but the offering goes far beyond sports into the fields of politics, elections, finance, and even the weather,
The Prediction Vegas concept reflects a broader shift in the wider betting market.
Sports betting vs prediction markets
It must be noted that prediction platforms function in a very similar way to betting exchanges in practice, but they are set up legally and structured as financial derivatives, as opposed to conventional gambling.
It is a contested matter, with many critics and state regulators arguing they are unlicensed sports betting and event wagers.
Rather than placing wagers on a single outcome, prediction market participants buy and sell contracts tied to future events, with prices reflecting the collective judgment of the market.
Supporters insist these markets can provide accurate indicators by collecting information from thousands of participants.
Jumping on the prediction markets boom
The launch of Prediction Vegas comes at a time when prediction markets are enjoying unprecedented visibility.
Interest has surged during recent election cycles and major sporting events, while regulatory developments have helped bring platforms such as Kalshi into the mainstream conversation.
What was once a niche online activity has increasingly become part of wider discussions around betting, forecasting, and information gathering.
The entity behind the project is Bell Buckle Holdings, the publicly traded company that is "focused on the experience economy". That provides a fit with the prediction market scene, and they believe the time is now to create a physical home for a digital-first community.
The venue's design seeks to reinforce that idea.
In addition to the main floor, Prediction Vegas features nine themed private suites intended to offer intimate smaller-group experiences for meetings, events and community gatherings.
The thinking is to create a social environment around forecasting and market discussions, in the same way that sportsbooks have served sports fans.
"Prediction Vegas is certain to become the newest Las Vegas destination," said Peter Klamka, CEO of Bell Buckle Holdings.
"We believe it's the most original new venue to arrive in this city since the Encore opened. We're taking the energy of prediction markets and giving it a permanent home on Las Vegas Boulevard."
