Las Vegas Strip casino tour: 22 casinos one after the next

BonusFinder's Senior Editor, Lucy Wynne, has created a Las Vegas casino guide!

Having visited Las Vegas in December 2025, the thing that struck me most was how far away the casinos can be from one another. This led me to create a foolproof casino tour with no more than 15 minutes walking distance between each casino. The tour starts off at Mandalay Bay all the way down to The Fontainebleau.

From Mandalay Bay to Fontainebleau it is five miles, so you're looking at a very long walk. The walk would take you over one hour and a half, or a 15-20 minute cab - so, instead, let's go to 20 extra casinos in between!

1. Mandalay Bay

First we have Mandalay Bay, the successful brand has a beach-themed aesthetic which is so loyal to the brand they even have an 11-acre beach … in the desert - yes, you heard that right. For those into their aquatic mammals, this resort is also home to its very own 2,000-animal Shark Reef Aquarium ($31-$36 pp).

As for its casino, there's 147,000 sq ft of gaming space equipped with every table game you could want - and if you're an MGM Rewards member, you can claim and redeem points here.

For our second spot, you will take a 10-12 minute walk (one of the longer walks of the tour) to Excalibur, or you can get the hidden free tram (which starts at Luxor) and will get you there in around five minutes.

2. Excalibur

From the tropics to King Arthur's castle, Excalibur is a huge Medieval castle that lights up at night and is one of the largest hotels in the world. If you really want to absorb the theme, then head over to watch a Tournament of Kings show ($80 pp), where jousting, sword fights and a Medieval dinner show takes place...

With over 100,000 sq ft of gaming space you will find a large variety of slots alongside a mixture of low bet table games. Once you're ready to travel even further back in time, to Ancient Egypt, you will take a five minute walk to our next stop, Luxor.

3. Luxor

From King Arthur's castle to Ancient Egypt, Luxor has iconic symbolism embedded all around the resort, from The Eye of Horus, hieroglyphics, pyramids, pharos and sphinxes to statues of tesems. In fact, the entire resort is shaped as a pyramid, so it's impossible to miss!

The casino is a little less luxurious than the aesthetics but there's over 120,000 sq ft of gaming space so regardless of 'luxury' there's plenty of options when it comes to playing low-medium bet sizes. Up next we head on a 5-7 minute walk to NYC - yes, you heard that right...

4. New York New York

"In New York concrete jungle where dreams are made of…"

Except this New York (New York) is on the Las Vegas Strip. Of course the central focus is the New York vibe, with smaller replicas of the iconic Statue of Liberty and Central Park, as well as a The Big Apple Coaster - a rollercoaster which is wrapped around the hotel and reaches speeds of 65-70mph!

As for the casino it's of ample size and is ideal for low stakes players, whereas, the high rollers might be after a more luxurious casino. Once you are done with this resort, on to the next! The next stop will be MGM Grand, which should take you about two minutes to walk to.

5. MGM Grand

Now you should be able to see quite a few famous casinos in your eye view, as you're pretty much central on The Strip here. MGM Grand is a large casino hotel and one of the most iconic casinos on (170,00 sq ft)The Strip making this a must visit.

At MGM Grand you will find a 6.6-acre 'Grand Pool Complex' featuring five pools, three whirlpools and a lazy river; as well as multiple top-rated restaurants such as Hakkasan (which also has its own club too).

When heading to the next stop, it should take you around 15 minutes to walk to The Cosmopolitan, however a handful of casinos after this tend to be under 10 minutes so we can sacrifice one long-ish walk can't we?

If not, you can use the free tram from Park MGM to Aria/Bellagio which will take you around two and a half minutes, and a 5-10 minute walk.

6. The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan is a five-star hotel and casino that sits central on The Strip. This resort is home to a 100,000 sq ft casino floor with a 2,300 sq ft high-limit area for the high rollers.

Alongside its facilities for gamblers, this is also one for the foodies - with many options available. The Cosmo is also home to the first Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill outside of New York City.

Once you have finished your time touring this casino, the next one on your list will be Aria. Walk time is approximately five minutes through the casino, as there is an inside route from The Cosmopolitan to Aria - just ask a member of staff for guidance if you're unsure, or view this insightful YouTube video

7. Aria

If you're looking for a luxurious stop, Aria is one of the best. The resort holds a AAA Five Diamond Award - a program rating supreme hotels and restaurants - as well as an overall five-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide.

The essence of luxury is projected in the fact Gymkhana, a two-Michelin-star Indian fine-dining restaurant from London, opened there in late 2025 - so if you want a fancy addition to your trip the Aria is a must. Alongside it's impressive aesthetics, its facilities are top-tier too - including an impressive 150,000 sq ft casino floor.

After this resort, you can walk through the casino to get to Bellagio - this should take you around a 10 minute walk indoors or you can opt to ride the free Aria Express tram: it connects ARIA, Vdara/Waldorf Astoria and Bellagio (plus Park MGM).

8. Bellagio

If you've seen the glorious outdoor fountain show in Las Vegas, this is where you have seen it. The Bellagio was the most expensive hotel in the world at the time of its opening, in 1998, coming in at $1.6bn (sold for $6.4bn two years later) - and it has upheld its class ever since.

Alongside its famous fountain show, The Bellagio is inspired by a village in Lake Como so a lot of its amenities are inspired from Italy. Ocean's Eleven was also filmed here, and essentially put the hotel on the pop culture map.

And there's a reason Bellagio is one of the most famous casinos on The Strip - thanks to its 156,000 sq ft gaming floor, 40-table poker room and over 2,300 slot machines, as well as various table game options too - trust me, time flies in this casino.

The next stop (if you don't get too carried away) is Planet Hollywood. This journey should take a short 3-5 minute walk.

9. Planet Hollywood

The name is a bit of a giveaway, but this casino is - like other casinos on The Strip - a themed one, with the self-explanatory theme of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. If you're a Caesars Rewards member, then your points and rewards can also be utilized here.

Whether its craps, poker, slots, roulette or baccarat, Planet Hollywood has plenty of options with varying bet sizes, making it ideal for the average gambler who doesn't want to risk too much.

And if you just want a walk around, don't forget to watch the free Rain Show in the Miracle Mile Shopping district. After this, you will take a 3-5 minute walk to France (obviously) and head to the wonderful Paris.

10. Paris

Can you guess the theme of this hotel? Paris is one of the most distinctive casinos on The Strip - standing out with half-scale remakes of the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triumph. The Parisian theme continues indoors, with cute patisseries, brasseries and Parisian iconography - giving you a taste of Europe in the US.

As for its casino, it isn't as good as the others on the list, but it sure is great to walk around and feel like you've landed in Paris. Next stop? Horseshoe. This will take around a 2-3 minute walk through the casino - easy!

11. Horseshoe

We are officially half way through our casino tour!

If Paris didn't quite satiate your appetite for gambling, then you are now in the prime place. Horseshoe has a big focus on its casino - and less on its resort amenities, making it perfect for any serious gambler who just wants to play and doesn't care about the fluff.

World Series of Poker (WSOP) hosts its notorious WSOP events at Horseshoe, due to its great casino facilities and variety of games available to play - all at different stakes.

Up next we have The Cromwell which is right next door, taking you a 1-2 minute walk.

12. The Cromwell

Perhaps one of the closest stops to each other, and the least walking you will do between casinos, The Cromwell is one of the smaller venues, but iconic nonetheless.

Similar to Paris, The Cromwell offers a French-theme, originally based on Parisian apartments, so if you enjoy that aesthetic you'll likely enjoy this casino too. The gaming floor is around half the size of other casinos on The Strip (40,010 sq ft), but remains a high quality option regardless.

And are you looking for a party too? If so, this place has you sorted. Inside Cromwell you will also find their rooftop nightclub - Drai's Beach Club & Night Club - featuring pool parties and club nights that start at 2am -making it one of Vegas's most famous nightlife venues.

Next up is Flamingo, which should take a short 3-5 minute walk.

Caesars Rewards accepted here

13. Flamingo

Having been opened since 1946, Flamingo stands to be one of the oldest casinos on The Strip. This unique venue carries a wildlife-theme and lives up to the theme so much you can even view real-life flamingos, turtles, exotic birds, and more, there.

As for the casino, you will find over 1,600 slots including a high rollers area and in addition to standard table games, the Flamingo also offers other less-known variations like Let It Ride, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold'em.

Your Caesars rewards can also be used here, which leads me on to the next casino… Caesars! To get there you will need to take a 5-7 minute walk.

14. Caesars Palace

Like many other hotels on The Strip, this casino's has a theme, Caesars Palace's theme is its unique resemblance to Ancient Rome. Inside, sits a 4,000-seat Colosseum that acts as a performance venue, a Nobu Hotel and even an animatronic production called Fall of Atlantis, which is free to watch and repeats every hour, on the hour.

The casino floor spans 124,000 sq ft and continues with the Roman aesthetic where there are statues depicting Greek Gods and the almighty Julius Caesar, as well as sky ceilings, Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis and the stunning 'Fountain of the Gods' - giving you plenty of photo opportunities.

Once you have finished filling up your photo gallery with snaps from Caesars Palace, the next casino is Harrahs. This will take you approximately a 5-7 minute walk.

Caesars Rewards accepted here

15. Harrahs

Huurah! You have landed at Harrahs! This is another Caesars Rewards casino, so if you haven't signed up with Caesars Rewards already - do it now.

Some top aspects about Harrah are: being able to watch Pete Vallee perform as 'Big Elvis' in the Piano Bar for free, its closeness to the LINQ promenade, as well as it having its own direct access to the Monorail.

As for the casino, expect a relaxed vibe - perfect for first time players - but if you are a high roller this probably isn't the casino for you. Whereas, if you are a high roller then you are going to love the next stop - The Venetian. To get there, it will take you around an 8 minute walk.

Caesars Rewards accepted here

16. The Venetian

One of the most famous resorts on The Strip is The Venetian, and for plenty of good reasons too. As you can probably guess, this hotel's theme is Venice, Italy and it's brought to life by the gondolas inside and outside.

If you fancy it, you can take a real gondola trip through the resorts' shops (dependant on the day - weekday/weekend) for around $34-$39 per person for a shared ride (up to four people) and around $156-$199 for a private ride for two people.

And if you decide to stay in The Venetian, every room is a suite so you will have plenty of space - compared to most hotels on The Strip, which charge uber premium prices when staying at a suite.

With its 225,000 sq ft casino floor, you're never short of gaming options either. The Venetian is great for new gamblers to high rollers, with plenty of amenities and bet levels ensuring every type of player has fun. This is also another hot picture spot.

Next we have Treasure Island, which will take you a walk of around 5-7 minutes.

Caesars Rewards accepted here

17. Treasure Island

Ahoy! Treasure Island is home to the mighty pirates of Las Vegas, where you can witness pirates battle it out in a free show or go and watch the dazzling Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, inside of the resort.

For the budget traveler, Treasure Island is ideal; you have a tropical themed-pool area, low limit tables and slots, as well as a large 24-hour sportsbook.

After this you are going to take a 10 minute walk to the wonderful Wynn.

Caesars Rewards accepted here

18. Wynn

Despite being named after the infamous businessman, Steve Wynn, this is one of the most luxurious spots on The Strip. This is due to its grand seasonal and festival decor, luxurious architecture, multiple Michelin star-graded chefs on-site, being one of the best spa experiences in Vegas, and more.

Or if you want to go in just for a look around, there are plenty of things to see as well as the free 'Lake of Dreams' show (that occurs every 30 minutes).

As for the casino, it's one of the best. Most casinos on The Strip will offer 'free drinks' when you're playing (you usually 'tip' a few dollars, so they're not exactly 'free'), but cocktails are not on the menu most of the time.

However, the Wynn was one of the few places happy to make a mojito whilst I was playing, making it one of my top choices - it's the little tastes of luxury that really make the difference to your overall experience.

Once you've had your fun sipping cocktails at The Wynn, your next stop will be a 3-5 minute walk to Encore.

19. Encore

Similar to the Wynn in elegance, and top-tier customer service, the Encore stands as a more boutique sister version of the Wynn.

Encore is also home to the legendary XS Nightclub which is an indoor/outdoor club experience based around the Encore European pool. And similar to The Venetian, Encore is an all-suite hotel, so whatever room you choose to stay in will be a suite.

When it comes to gambling, expect a high quality gaming floor, with top quality service. Encore's casino is the epitome of elegance and anything you want to play is there within its 110,000 sq ft gaming space.

Next up is a step down in luxury, but an iconic venue you can't miss when visiting The Strip; we take a 15 minute walk to Resorts World.

20. Resorts World

Known for being one of the newest resorts on The Strip, having opened in 2023, this resort is also one of the few to offer zero resort fees - making it a popular destination to stay at. Resorts World is also made up of three hotels: Hilton, Conrad and Crockfords, and is also home to one of the largest pool complexes in Sin City.

As for gambling, you have a large gaming floor of 117,000 sq ft with plenty of slot options and varying bet sizes across table games.

Due to being one of the newest casinos on The Strip, the decor is very modern-luxury and so are the facilities. If you are heading here in the evening you can also visit the Zouk Nightclub where you can catch big-named DJs spinning the decks.

After this, we head towards Circus Circus, which is around a five minute walk.

21. Circus Circus

One of the most identifiable resorts and one of the cheapest too, Circus Circus has been standing since 1968 - making it one of the oldest and longest-running casinos on The Strip.

If you want some cheap fun, after visiting Wynn & Encore, Circus Circus has got you. From rollercoasters, to daily free circus acts, and being home to one of the largest indoor theme parks in the whole of the US, childlike wonder will come back like no other.

Alongside the added amenities, there is a whopping 123,928 sq ft of gaming space, making it one of the biggest casino floors in Sin City too.

And if you head to Slots A Fun, alongside a load of slot machines you will also come across $2 beer, hotdogs and popcorn - making this one of the more affordable stops on your tour.

After this, we are heading to Fontainebleau - this will take a walk of around 5-7 minutes.

22. Fontainebleau

Standing 737ft tall, Fontainebleau is the tallest hotel in Nevada. Having opened in 2023, this new resort is up-scale luxury, and inside you will find many amenities including a 55,000 sq ft spa and wellness center.

Meanwhile, the casino space spans 173,000 sq ft, holding over 120 table games and 1,300 slot games with a dedicated 18,000 sq ft space designated to high rollers, as well as a 14,000 sq ft sportsbook.

Other unique attributes to this resort include the Hall of Excellence exhibiting sports and cultural memorabilia; 550,000 sq ft event space, as well as 36 restaurants and bars to choose from.

End of Las Vegas Strip casino tour
