Hard Rock Casino Tejon to launch in California on November 13 with 2,050+ games
Hard Rock International and the Tejon Indian Tribe have announced that Hard Rock Casino Tejon will open its doors on November 13, 2025.
Word of the casino’s imminent launch comes via an official press release, which details that “thousands of construction jobs” have been created during the assembly process. Moreover, Hard Rock Casino Tejon will welcome 1,000 permanent employees upon opening.
The venue is set to host over 2,000 slot machines, 50 live table games and exclusive VIP rooms for blackjack and baccarat across 150,000 square feet of dedicated gaming facilities. Hard Rock’s extensive historical music collection will also be displayed for visitors, showcasing the brand’s deep connection to the arts.
Situated on tribal land less than 15 miles south of Bakersfield and tailored to the Central Valley and Southern California markets, this represents a groundbreaking venture for Kern County; the region has never previously presided over a tribal-owned, privately-managed gaming venue.
Hard Rock International will control administrative duties, while the Tejon Indian Tribe maintains ownership of the venue itself.
The casino’s proximity to Los Angeles is another crucial factor – as the City of Angels sits an “easy highway drive” away from the site, according to the release.
A “diverse” range of food and drinks will also be available to players. Specifically, Hard Rock Cafe dining services shall accompany a Marketplace Food Hall comprising coffee, pastries, tacos, Italian specialities and southern favorites.
Those seeking one-of-a-kind merchandise can purchase unique products through the Rock Shop; an on-site retail store.
