BetMGM’s Friends slot now available in Michigan and New Jersey
BetMGM has launched the first officially licensed Friends online casino game. The slot has been created by London-based Atlantic Digital. Although the slot is initially being launched as part of BetMGM’s portfolio of games in Michigan and New Jersey, it is likely to roll out to other states in the near future.
The multi drop game features the iconic character faces of: Joey, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe. Well-known quotes from the show accompany winning spins, and play is accompanied by the staple ‘I’ll Be There For You’ theme tune, appealing to Friends fans and those looking for a hit of 90s TV nostalgia.
The new slot – Friends: The One With The Multi Drop – was initially available to play in Michigan and New Jersey but is likely to roll out to other states, and potentially other countries, in the future.
Designed by Atlantic Digital, it is the latest licensed online slot in the UK-based studio’s portfolio. Previous launches have included The Godfather, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Cheers. It joins some of BetMGM’s most popular titles like Age of Olympus: Apollo and Fa Fa Babies.
About Friends: The One With The Multi Drop slot
Friends: The One With The Multi Drop is played on a 6×5 grid, sitting on top of an image of Monica and Rachel’s apartment. As well as the main characters from the show, symbols also include the Thanksgiving turkey in sunglasses, a lobster and the couch from Central Perk.
The cluster game has multi-drop multipliers that accumulate on free spins, giving the potential for big wins, with players being able to hit 200x multipliers plus free spins.
Further, the jackpot is 5,000x initial stake, and the slot is medium to high volatility.

The game is the first in a series of planned Friends titles from the partnership, although no timeline has been given for future launches.
Atlantic Digital specializes in turning much-loved TV and movie franchises into similarly well-received slot machines. Other shows to have received the Atlantic treatment include CSI, Cheers and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
The team have also worked on movie tie-ins with Charlie’s Angels, The Godfather and Ace Ventura games.
