Fanatics Betting deepens ties with WWE to create branded casino games

Fanatics Betting and Gaming have signed a multi-year licensing agreement with the WWE, giving them the rights to create and distribute officially licensed online slots for the US market.

New games are expected to launch before the end of July, in time for the annual Summer Slam event, which takes place on August 2 and August 3 in New Jersey.

The games will be produced by Boom Entertainment and Games Global, under the Fanatics Game Studios umbrella, and those visiting the Fanatics online casino sites will enjoy exclusive WWE content throughout August.

The casino is available to players in multiple states across the US, including in New Jersey, where next month’s Summer Slam event is being held. It is part of the larger Fanatics organization, which also offers licensed merchandise.

Players in Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia will also have the opportunity to play the latest WWE casino games on Fanatics.

The WWE-Fanatics partnership

The group already have a strong working relationship with WWE, having sold licensed wrestling goods in global jurisdictions and having co-hosted the WWE World fan experience at the Las Vegas Convention Center back in April 2025.

Ari Borod, Chief Business Officer for Fanatics Betting and Gaming, said: “We are excited to expand our relationship with WWE to now include an exclusive portfolio of WWE-themed online casino games.

“This is a natural extension of the WWE-Fanatics partnership which already includes global e-commerce, licensed merchandise, memorabilia, as well as producing and distributing a growing lineup of digital shows.”

The merchandising company’s iGaming studio is set to launch five new WWE-themed casino games. The games, which will be available at the end of July, are:

  • WWE Blackjack
  • Raw Multiplier Melee
  • SmackDown Big Money Entrance!
  • WWE Bonus Rumble Gold Blitz
  • WWE Clash of the Wilds

As well as the launch of these new titles, the Fanatics casino will enjoy a WWE-themed month in August. Players can expect exclusive sign-up offers related to the Summer Slam event, while games like Fanatics’ Spin to Win will also enjoy a wrestling makeover.

Players can continue to enjoy access to the site’s FanCash incentive. Bettors gain FanCash for every spin or game they play, and it can be converted to credit for casino games, free sports bets and official merchandise.

Fanatics faces tax pressures

The initiative could help alleviate some of the financial pressure Fanatics will be feeling in New Jersey. The state recently announced that it is increasing its iGaming tax rates to 19%, which will hit iGaming sites that operate within the Garden State.

Bettors will hope to avoid a similar response to that made by Fanatics in Illinois. The Prairie State also announced an increase in tax rates, with some operators facing rates as high as 40%. The state also introduced a fee of between $0.25 and $0.50 on every bet received by operators.

In response to this rise, Fanatics are to charge a $0.25 fee per sports wager in Illinois, citing the “high cost of operating” in the state.
