New Pennsylvania Casinos to Launch in 2023

Pennsylvania is expected to get plenty of new online gambling sites in 2023. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released their 2021-22 annual report in October 2022, indicating that up to ten new operators would start offering “casino-type games” in 2023. In addition, new PA online sports betting operators are looking to launch soon.

While the report does not mention any specific brands that have gained licenses or are in the process of doing so, there are several that have already implied they will expand into Pennsylvania online gambling. Some other brands are prominent in other online gambling states, which leads many to speculate they will soon go live in the Keystone State as well.

PlayStar Casino

PlayStar Pennsylvania might launch already in 2022, as the brand has stated their desire to get the site up and running shortly after the launch of the NJ website. PlayStar is one of the newer brands in the U.S., and offers a $1,000 deposit bonus in NJ. PlayStar has a good selection of games and some great promotions.

Golden Nugget

Golden Nugget is a very popular online casino and sportsbook in Michigan, New Jersey, and West Virginia. Golden Nugget Online Casino PA has not been announced yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising for them to launch there as well. Golden Nugget’s excellent slot selection would be a welcome addition to the Pennsylvania online casinos as well.

Bally Casino

Bally’s is applying to build a Category 4 casino in Centre County, and would most likely seek online licenses as well. Bally Casino is currently just live in New Jersey, but the sportsbook Bally Bet is live in six states. Bally Casino is currently quite small, but expanding their game catalog constantly.

Fanatics is known as the sports athletic gear company, but is launching their sports betting website in several states in early 2023. Not much is known about Fanatics’ product, but we can assume it’ll provide excellent service for all sports fans. Fanatics has also expressed their interest in developing an online casino, meaning they will be eyeing the four states where casino gaming online is competitive (some states like Delaware and Connecticut don’t have available licenses).

WynnBET has an online casino in addition to their sportsbook in New Jersey and Michigan. WynnBET’s platform has been anticipated in Pennsylvania for a long time, and it finally looks like the operator is getting ready to expand into the state. WynnBET has great welcome bonuses for new users, although we can’t yet confirm their bonus for PA.

No Launch Dates Yet for Any Brands

It should be noted that none of these new PA online casinos have completed the licensing process and are therefore not confirmed to launch. However, since the state has a big number of online casino licenses and most of these brands have expressed interest in launching in Pennsylvania, we can be confident that they will be going live in 2023. As there are no firm dates for launches, keep checking BonusFinder US and we will let you know when you can sign up on the sites!
